ANNOUNCEMENT...first PAPER of the Semester...
Starting THIS WEEK in homeroom the college counselors will take 10th grade students to the library to start working on a RESUME in NAVIANCE.
This is an opportunity to get a class assignment started, perhaps completed, during homeroom.
FIRST, read the requirements of the assignment on the papers page of the website. The document name is RESUMECoverLetter. Start your resume during homeroom...turn in a rough draft of your resume and create a cover letter to a potential employer by the MONDAY after your homeroom "lesson". The final draft will be due 4-16-12. This paper assignment and rubric is due during class time, not uploaded to turnitin.com. The format of a resume is KEY...some people lose formatting on turnitin.com...no need to go through that with this KEY assignment.
