Welcome Back from Spring Break

Two months to go...well, just a bit more then you will be JUNIORS! We have a bit left to accomplish.

Macbeth WS for the upcoming acts are included here along with their due dates. We will continue to read the play aloud in class.
Act 2 WS due Thursday 4-3-08
Act 3WS due Monday 4-7-08
Act 4 WS due Thursday 4-10-08
Act 5 WS due Monday 4-14-08

Macbeth quiz Friday 4-4-08 (Acts 1-2)
Macbeth quiz Friday 4-11-08 (up to where we leave off in class 4-10 ...Act 3 +)

Macbeth Project will be assigned once we complete the play.

Vocabulary Book...almost done
Quiz on Friday 4-11 Lessons 19 and 20
Quiz on Friday 4-18 Lesson 21
Test on Friday 4-25 Lessons 14-21 - Therefore no vocabulary on the final exam
Keep bringing your book to class until I say not to - we have several activities left to complete

Upcoming Assignments

Monday March 17th (Happy St. Patrick's Day) the final draft of the autobiographical paper is due. Macbeth also needs to be brought to class on the 17th.

Homework Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday will be to read (TPCASTT) a poem and come prepared to discuss in class the following day.

We will have a Macbeth introductory assignment due Tuesday 3/18/08.

A Macbeth reading guide will accompany each assigned Act. We will also read the play in class to gain a better understanding of the terminology used.

Outside Reading

Outside Reading #4 - our second book this semester - must be chosen NO LATER THAN Friday 4/4/08 - the last day of the quarter.

The project will be due Monday 5/19/08.
