Christmas Break

Over Christmas Break you will complete READING BNW and answer the questions from chapter 15-18. Your Semester Exam study outline could be perused if you have time/wish to do so. You will also be turning one of your "quick writes" into a short story draft to be peer critiqued when we return to school.

Week of December 17th

It's almost time for our break. A few things to complete before we leave for two weeks.
Persuasive Paper is due Monday 12/17 as well as Teenagers and Tatoos (reading/questions given after Friday's quiz). Tuesday vocabulary quiz corrections for lesson will be due. Wednesday you need to turn in answers to the questions after reading Chapters 13 and 14. Thursday we will have a quiz on Brave New World.

A semester exam study guide and homework over break will be linked to the blog this weekend.

Week of December 10, 2007

This week OR # 2 is due on Tuesday and BNW Chapter 12 is to be read and questions answered by Thursday 12/13/07. Friday we will have a Vocabulary Quiz on lesson 11 and grammar (Participles, gerunds, infinitive phrases and appositives).

Brave New World Chapters 8-11 WS

Week of December 1st

This week we will work on grammar, vocabulary lesson 11 and continue reading Brave New World. Friday December 7th we will have a vocabulary quiz on lesson 11 and have a quiz on the grammar concepts covered throughout the week.

The Brave New World worksheet questions (on left side column chapters 8-11) match the reading to be completed this week. Please print out and staple to your typed questions as your cover sheet. The reading and questions are due on Wednesday December 5th. The reading is approximately 50 pages.

Do not forget the second outside reading report is due Tuesday 21/11 and the Persuasive Paper final draft is due Monday 12/17.
