Today was the vocabulary TEST on 8-14. In My Hands reading WS Part 1 was turned in today.
After the quiz, students were told to read the New York Times Upfront Magazine (September 20, 2010)
1. Page 6-7 Who Gets to be an American?
2. Page 8-11 Islam: Not in My Backyard
3. Page 14-15 Going Private
NEXT WEEK:
Monday and Tuesday Block Days...Monday Mass and 2-4-6, Tuesday Homeroom and 1-3-5.
Wednesday a SIA quiz on last 2 chapters.
Thursday a IMH quiz on Part 1.
Friday Vocabulary quiz 15/16
Starting WEDNESDAY-the 11th...3 peer reviews of the paper contest...I set your peer review groups. Turn in your rubric AFTER you complete the three...no grade assigned w/o a rubric being turned in to me.
