There was extra time to work on Grammar Flip yesterday and today

We completed/discussed SAT Prep Book Pages 79-80-81

We began an analysis of Macbeth and Lady Macbeth's character ... signs they have a conscience ... where the weigh right vs wrong ... then decide to act. We broke up into groups. We will share out on block day.

We will review where Intersession Assignments are ... they are to be downloaded tonight as a homework assignment. Please see me THIS SEMESTER if you have any questions about travel intersession classes/due dates. DOWNLOAD tonight as the current canvas page will expire in a few days...finals are almost here!

We will complete and correct grammar WS review 6-15 as well as correct vocabulary book pages 118-119.

We will discuss The Lottery and BNW regarding the RHETORICAL TRIANGLE ...ETHOS/PATHOS/LOGOS
  • We will address the characters that ETHICALLY challenge the system and the LOGOS/Logical response given for why the system is the way it is
  • We will look at Traditions in The Lottery as well as discuss cultural context/setting
  • We will continue to look at author's word choice/tone

NOTE: Block 3 did not have presentations as discussion lasted longer ... we corrected Vocabulary Book pages 82 and 83 also.
