2. Imagine you had a superpower, and it was just available to you for a 24 hour period. What would the superpower be and what would you do with the power for the 24 hour time span?
3. Imagine you had the opportunity to meet ONE of the characters we read about this semester at Starbucks after school. This would be your opportunity to talk to this person about anything that you have on your mind. What questions would you ask this character? What insight would you like to get from this character? After Test: Read WRITERS CHOICE (commas) pages 740-748
Complete EVENS exercises: 9-10-11-12-15 (HOMEWORK if not done in class)

October Writing Bonus
Stage of Life has a writing contest each month. This month's prompt: The Story of a Scar. In 500 words or less, enter this month's writing contest by sharing a personal story that talks about a physical or emotional scar you carry.

We discussed the article "Can Your Phone Testify Against You" from the Upfront Magazine
We identified the FOCUS and THESIS STATEMENTS
