I was in San Jose today speaking at CATE...California Association of Teachers of English. The sub had you...
1. Take the Macbeth Multiple Choice Portion of your Test
2. After the test...complete Vocabulary Book Lesson 7 Synonyms and Antonyms (Homework if not done in class).
3. Also...after the test there was a stack of Wall Street Journals left for each class with a specified story to read. Read to search for the Focus Statement and Thesis Statement. We'll discuss on Monday in class.

Argumentative Paper
We will start a LONG TERM Assignment in class on Tuesday. Each Tuesday we will work in the library on an ARGUMENTATIVE PAPER.
Make sure you read the assignment details and start to think of a topic BEFORE meeting in the library on Tuesday.
