Today is Vocabulary Quiz #2 ... Monday you'll get back the scantron AND both quizzes for studying purposes. Next week is Vocabulary Quiz 3 ... TEST on Lessons 1-3 will be Friday 9-28-12. I suggest you go back over the ones you missed so you are prepared for the test on the first three lessons!
After the quiz:
1. Read the UPFRONT MAGAZINEE
2. Start Reading MAUS - reading WS linked here...the first assignment is due 9-28-12.
3. ACTIVE Read from your lit book the following stories:
A Management of Grief and A Pair of Tickets. The WS for each book is linked here. A Management of Grief is Due MONDAY 9-17 and A Pair of Tickets TUESDAY 9-18
CHANGE ... found out your book does NOT have A management of Grief ... will get you a copy to read. READ A Pair of Tickets and complete that WS for Monday ... A Management of Grief for Tuesday.
4. DUE MONDAY...Create dialogue/a story in comic form using 10 of the words from Vocabulary Lesson 3.
Instructions:
1. Use the website MakeBeliefsComix to make your comic
2. Topic: your favorite food, your favorite TV show, OR your favorite movie
3. your comic needs to be using the "4 panel option" in the lower right
create TWO if you need to in order to use 10 words, and use them correctly!
4. print out your comic
5. highlight the 10 words from lesson 3
6. your choice ... neatly color when you finish ... if that adds to the story!
