June 1st

Today I passed out a SUMMER READING ACKNOWLEDGMENT FORM for everyone to sign and keep a copy.

We proceeded to have the Frankenstein essay exam...tomorrow will be the "all novels" exam with Thursday being POETRY ANALYSIS.

Wednesday June 2nd: Students can take vocabulary book home OR recycle!

Any NOVELS you do not want...please donate...Outside Reading books for the classroom library or class novels for students next year. THANKS!!

BOOKS WILL BE ALLOWED ON TOMORROWS ESSAY TEST!

Welcome to English 2 with Ms. MacVay

The blog will contain weekly posts with student assignments and due dates. As often as I can I will attach worksheets and rubrics to the blog entry (saves paper!). Write down due dates in your planner so that you have them in case you are unable to go online due to computer "issues".

Make it a habit to check the blog on a daily basis for assignments, instructions, announcements and messages! You never know, a bonus opportunity may be posted and you would not want to miss it!

Let me know if there is anything I can do to make the blog more user friendly - your opinion matters. The blog is only a good communication tool if both parties are utilizing it.
